Righting The Future
The project aim was to replicate a successful Indian Education model in Kenya and Uganda to increase access and retention of approximately 750 girls in secondary education while building community demand and accountability for girls’ education.
The projects aimed to disseminate learning from a successful experience in India to a context of similar, though not identical, gaps and deficits in girls’ education in Africa.
The program was implemented in Siaya County (Ugenya Sub-county) in Kenya. In April 28th 2016 the Program phased out.
